Bio

My name is Therese Asplund and I am a Swedish photographer with passion for people, portraits and lightning. My specialty is fineart portraits where I thrive to create portraits that feel like paintings or flirt with the fashion world and where I get to work, not only with the photography, but also with styling, hair and makeup. I run my own studio, since almost 15 years, where I work with both commercial and private clients. As for the photography I do just for me, I hope I never stop having these crazy ideas that, from time to time, end up as really great pictures. The best images from my own sessions often make competition pictures and I am proud to have won prices for my pictures both in Sweden and internationally. When I am not shooting, I like it very much to teach photography and I do both lectures and workshops. I work closely together with both Nikon Europe and Elinchrom as an ambassador and creator.
