Bio
Susan Greeff, former Life Coach and Counsellor whose search for a creative outlet led her on a journey to re-discover photography as an art form. As photographer, Susan has learned from a number of photographic masters in a variety of genres of photography. For her, the creative process is as much part of our inner journey as it is of the outer journey. As an avid traveller she is drawn to Travel, Wildlife, Portrait and People photography; especially African Tribes and their traditions. She hopes to bring awareness to the vulnerability of wildlife and tribal people, and the risk of losing it. She’s also drawn to Documentary/PhotoJournalism and beliefs in the art of visual storytelling. Susan’s photographs have been nominated, honourably mentioned and awarded as finalist artworks nationally and internationally, featured in several international photographic publications and have been sold nationally and internationally to private clients. She is a Honours member of the Photographic Society of South Africa and Chairperson of the West Coast Photo Club. Apart from creating fine art images for her own portfolio she teaches Visual Storytelling through Photography to private clients and members of The South African Defence Force going on Retirement.
