Shivani Tibrewal – Photographer, Storyteller, Entrepreneur Shivani Tibrewal is an India-based photographer and visual storyteller whose work explores the intersection of culture, emotion, and lived experience. Rooted in Assam and shaped by her journeys across diverse landscapes, her photography captures moments that are both intimate and expansive—revealing the poetry of everyday life alongside the depth of tradition. Her visual language is deeply human-centric. She is drawn to stories of people, rituals, and places, approaching them with sensitivity and a keen narrative instinct. Her work reflects themes of identity, belonging, and cultural continuity, transforming fleeting moments into evocative and lasting imagery. A significant body of her work includes documenting the Bhandara festival at the Khandoba Temple in Jejuri, where she captured the powerful interplay of devotion, color, and movement. One of her images from this series was recognized by Wikipedia Folklore, affirming her ability to interpret and present cultural heritage through a compelling visual lens. Her work has also earned multiple awards and acceptances from the Federation of Indian Photography, further establishing her artistic voice within the photographic community. Beyond photography, Shivani is the Director of Singrimari Tea Estate Pvt. Ltd., where she remains closely connected to the land and legacy of Assam’s tea culture. She is also the Founder and Proprietor of Disha Travels, a venture that reflects her deep love for travel and her belief in meaningful, immersive experiences. An avid traveler at heart, Shivani finds inspiration in movement—across places, people, and perspectives.
