Observing nature, making art. Based in Western Australia, Sharon is a wildlife photographer who feels most at peace in quiet, wild places. She travels across Australia and beyond, taking the time to sit, observe, and let nature set the pace. Focussing on action, behaviour, patterns and details Sharon creates images that are honest but creative and, if she’s lucky, that will spark a sense of wonder in the viewer. Sharon sees photography as way to help people understand what’s at stake, begin conversations and encourage care for the natural world.
