Bio
I am a "young" photographer based in Genova, Italy. I only approached photography 4 years ago. This passion originates from my great-grandfather and for this reason my father pleasantly defines photography as "the family disease". I have a relatively introverted but sociable character, so I found photography as a way to express myself emotionally. So I started to deal with street photography and immortalize common scenes but with that particular "something" that attracted my sensitivity. Over time I have broadened my fields of use to sport and events even if I don't find attraction in photographing the action itself, but rather focusing my attention on people also with portraits and close-ups to try to bring out the "human" from shots. I could say that my photography is influenced by my passion for cinema and my studies in psychology, connected to 8 years of personal analysis. I like to try to bring out the hidden in a discreet and gentle way, so that my subjects feel welcomed by the camera, even if they often don't realize they are being photographed. I "steal the soul" so to speak. Furthermore, I like bad photos, those that are technically questionable but which portray true and authentic moments as if they were glimpsed.
