Paolo Cristiani (Milano, 1956), engineer, is the General Manager of a bio-medical research consortium, combining this activity with those of photographer, painter and sculptor. As a photographer he started his professional activity, at the beginning of the '80s, with a photographic book on Fidenza cathedral (Parma) and working for magazines and national newspapers (Abitare, Il Corriere della Sera Illustrato, Touristic magazines). Since the ‘90s, the photographic work affects landscapes research (SEA COSTS, LANDSCAPES OF SILENCE, SEA OF LOMBARDY), nature (LEAVES) and social (MEN & CITIES).. Single Port-folio have been the subject of photographic books and exhibitions in Italy and abroad (Istanbul, Izmir, Ljubljana, Strasbourg, Tunis, Buenos Aires). In 2025 has been published the 'TERRE DI MARE - SEA LAND' book that encompasses 55 images that were shot over a period of 42 years (1983-2025) in 14 countries across 3 continents (www.editorepavia.it)
