Nicolas Sebag is a young street photographer based in Paris who discovered the photographic medium during lock-down. Street photography gives pride of place to anonymity and often requires patience and discretion. Nicolas Sebag watches for the poetry of a solitary silhouette between the city walls and creates minimalistic, intimate scenes amidst the confusion of the big city. Playing with geometric lines, contrasts and reflections, the urban landscape loses its harshness, cloaks itself in mystery, and transforms itself into a theater of shadows. The deep shade of buildings hides as much as it reveals and frames a hint of playfulness, a sweet escape.
