Caught in a downpour while crossing the street to hail a cab, I raised the camera for a few quick frames. It was only later that I noticed the three figures, paused beneath a shelter, waiting patiently for the rain to pass.

In 2023 I explored a fish drying facility in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh where a curious little boy accompanied me. I invited him to pose among the drying fish, and his bright eyes seemed to mirror theirs, forming a joyful connection that perfectly captured the essence of the moment.

Wandering through one of the numerous brick factories in Dhaka, I was struck by the stark reality of the physical labour required, yet I couldn't help but notice the genuine contentment among the workers and they were happy.
