About Michiru Nakayama Michiru Nakayama is a Paris based portrait photographer whose work explore identity, memory and human connections in relation to their space that belong to. Like Cocoon, each sitters/subjects are protected from outside world and then she photographs the background as part of identity. If she shoots at location, often chooses specific space that relates to the subject and let them play. Whatever she shoots, no matter staged or not, focus on finding fragments of truth in the subject with touch of humour.
