My interest in photography began in early 2018. Some friends gave me a book on digital photography for my birthday. Aha – and now what? I've always taken photos, like probably many people do. With a small camera or with my smartphone. But a book on the subject – what could it possibly contain? It sat on the shelf for a few months, and then one day it jumped out at me. And the spark was ignited. Now, time permitting, I usually set off early in the morning or in the evening. I enjoy this special time when there is little going on, the sun has not yet risen and everything still seems quite untouched. But the vibrant city in the evening hours or at night also offers many interesting motifs. I continue to gain valuable experience on numerous photo walks across Germany and Europe. I am also active in the Hamburg Photo Club and take part in several photo competitions to exchange ideas and get feedback.
