Bio

Marc Lenfant is a French photographer based in French Polynesia for more than twenty-five years. Trained as a geographer and shaped by travel, hiking and diving, he explores the relationship between people, landscapes and fragile ecosystems. Rooted in the oceanic world of Polynesia, his work also extends to other territories encountered through travel. He photographs lagoons, reefs, waves, coastlines, volcanic valleys and everyday human presence, combining a documentary sensibility with a contemplative eye. Through his images, he seeks to reveal the beauty, silence and vulnerability of the places he explores.
