Bio

Hey, I’m Kirvan, a professional photographer from the island of Tahiti, French Polynesia. Growing up, turquoise barreling waves and lush mountain peaks were the backdrop for my daily life. After graduating from photography school in Los Angeles and making my way back to Polynesia, my passion for photography naturally gravitated towards the ocean. Surf, islands and landscape shots, to this day, remain my favorites. Over the past 10 years, I have built experience as a commercial photographer (I love a good car shooting !) and I worked 5 full years as the head photographer for the French Polynesian government. All the while, I continued nurturing my craft, making appearances in surf media, art exhibits and even joining the One Blue Ocean creative collective. Since 2021, I’ve been traveling full time, discovering the world and its many riches.
