Storms Approaching

Light cuts through the woods and puts a baby Barred Owl in dramatic light where it sits on a dead tree after fledging from it's nest. Always amazing to see such a wonder of nature.

Sunshine Spotlight

On a snow day this winter my kids left their sleds in our ice-covered driveway. I noticed that this icicle was reflecting the colors from the sleds and making them look like frozen ribbons of color.
