Bio
Born and educated in South Africa, I attribute my love of photography to the opportunities I was afforded at Westville Boys’ High School under the mentorship of one of my teacher’s, Paul Lichkus. Not only was I able to make use of an array of high-level equipment but I was also guided, encouraged, and inspired by the members of the photography task team at the school. My free time was spent shooting sports events and other school functions, the resultant images being used to showcase the school in various media. Trips to the bush in every school holiday allowed me to develop my interest in wildlife photography and today that is where my particular passion lies. I am currently 22 years old and studying a BSc in Biodiversity and Ecology at Stellenbosch University, with the aim of pursuing a career that will allow me to continue to develop the creative aspect of photography and bring awareness to the fragility of the natural environment and its occupants in a manner that is artistic and pleasing to the eye. My website and other social media accounts were created to showcase my work.
