Bio
Jabi Sanz is a Spanish landscape photographer known for his immersive visual storytelling and his ability to capture the elemental power of nature. His work reflects a deep connection to the outdoors, shaped by years spent exploring remote regions, often sleeping on mountaintops or traveling for weeks in his 4x4 converted campervan in search of perfect dawn light. His photography is defined by a strong sense of scale, atmosphere, and emotion. Jabi’s images highlight the parallels between human experience and natural forces—a theme central to his recent portfolio prepared for the Sony Professional Awards. From volcanic landscapes to glacial storms and tranquil lakes, he portrays nature not as a backdrop, but as a living character full of energy and meaning. Beyond his personal projects, Jabi works internationally as a photography guide for renowned companies such as Iceland Photo Tours and PhotoPills. He is also an educator and speaker, regularly sharing post-processing techniques—especially with Luminar NEO—through workshops, talks, and live demonstrations. Through his work, Jabi aims to inspire others to explore the outdoors, slow down, and appreciate the fragile beauty of our planet. His photography is a celebration of wild places and the emotional journeys they evoke.
