With a master's degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Arts, I accompany my images with my educational, cultural and artistic background. My influences are essentially pictorial, literary, musical and cinematographic. Framing, treatment of color are my own. Being self-taught frees me from certain photographers' "tics". My postulate: "There comes a time when things are so familiar that they become strange. The objects of everyday life, sometimes of a distressing banality or ugliness, are here coaxed and transcended in order to make gleams, shades and pigments spring up in soft emotions enveloping us in a peaceful impression of intimacy. The photographs that I qualify as "full consciousness", have their share of mystery and onirism; but I systematically apply the will to go to caress languorously the subject in order to release the beautiful of the ugly, the light of the shade, the shimmer of the blackness, the blur of the net. My compositions leave to the spectators a total freedom of interpretation. The border between dream and consciousness is extremely porous in my photography. The challenge for me is to propose other readings of reality.
