Bio
ARTIST STATEMENT I am drawn to the quiet magic of daydreaming - a space where conscious intention and subconscious whispers entwine, creating landscapes that exist beyond the tangible. My work invites viewers to step into this liminal world, where the ordinary dissolves into layers of imagination, memory, and emotion. Through my photography, I explore these psychological landscapes, capturing the interplay between the real and the ethereal. Using techniques like multiple exposure, I blur the boundaries between moments, thoughts, and places, much like how daydreams collapse time and space into vivid, overlapping fragments. This process reflects my fascination with what lies beneath—hidden beauty, fleeting feelings, and the universal longing to pause and simply be. When I photograph, I find myself in a state where both logic and intuition come together, much like the balance between the conscious and subconscious mind, or the rational and emotional sides of the brain. On one hand, I surrender to inspiration, letting my emotions and instincts guide me as I connect deeply with the scene. On the other hand, I remain fully aware, quickly and carefully adjusting my camera settings to capture the moment without disrupting the creative flow. This delicate interplay between freedom and control allows me to honor the vision unfolding before me, creating work that feels both spontaneous and intentional. Daydreaming, for me, is both an escape and a return. It is a spiritual act, a slowing down of life’s incessant rhythm to reveal the richness within. My camera becomes a tool to translate these intangible states into visual form, celebrating the power of presence, contemplation, and the beauty of what cannot be fully explained. I invite you to wander through my work as you would through a daydream—unhurried, open, and ready to connect with the layers of meaning that emerge when we let go and allow beauty to guide us.
