Bio

Ingrid (1968) lives and works in Sint-Truiden, Belgium. At the age of 18 she hesitated between social work and a photography education . It then became social work. Somewhere photography kept itching and she took the step to start in the academy for visual arts in Sint-Truiden . Here she graduated in June 2019 with her thesis "about thoughts". In the meantime, photography has become an integral part of her life . Her pictures are mostly about all aspects of human life seen with a rather melancholic look. Her work is usually build up in layers of time, emotions and materials. In 2020 she became a member of the life framer collection with her project “as time goes by” and her pictures where among the finalists in several street photography competitions.
