Helene McGuire. 47, is a self-taught award-winning French Photographer and writer living with her husband, three children and two dogs in New Jersey, USA. Leaving behind a career in International Law and Emergency Management, she returned to her artistic family trade. Her main focus of imaging is set in studio portraits, street photography and wild horses. The Irish Travellers’ community - with their close relationship to horses - offered a rare opportunity to work on all three. An avid world traveler, Helene sees encountering various cultures, traditions and communities as a lifelong education, a constant horizon broadener, and a chance to enrich her library of storytelling whether it translates into images or words.
