Georgina Goodwin is an International League of Conservation Photographers Associate Fellow, Canon Ambassador, 2×TEDx Speaker and Coach, and founder of GGImagesMedia agency. Born and based in Kenya, she has worked for 20 years as a documentary photographer across all genres of photography with a focus on environment and community. Named by NYWeekly Magazine as one of 2025’s “Influencers To Look Out For”, Georgina is known for her award-winning work on Kenya’s post-election violence, cancer in Kenya, and refugees in Africa. Her work has been commissioned by Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, Oxfam, and Greenpeace, and published by The New York Times, The Guardian and many more. She is a British Journal of Photography Portrait of Humanity Award Winner, a Canon Academy Certified Trainer, and a mentor for World Press Photo and Vital Impacts, with additional mentorship roles through Girls Who Click, Women in Wildlife and African Women Photograph. She is also an Ambassador for E2G Food and Mangrove Photography Awards, and her conservation photographs have been featured across global NGO campaigns, conservation and climate awareness initiatives such as PrintsForWildlife, Everyday Climate Change, Dysturb, and Blue Nature Alliance. Georgina is contributor to Getty Images, Everyday Climate Change and Everyday Extinction. Her work has been published by NY Times, Elle, Vogue, Agence France-Presse and many others, and has been exhibited in Times Square NYC, Bogotá Colombia, Tokyo Japan and The Louvre Paris amongst others.
