Bio

Gaëtan Changeur, born in 1981 in Paris, discovered photography at the age of 16 while developing film in a homemade darkroom with his father. Deeply inspired by the work of Man Ray, he began experimenting with photograms and pinhole photography, blending painting with photographic techniques. After studying at EFET School of Photography in Paris, he developed strong technical skills and later turned to food photography. This led to his first major color-based project: "Culinary Compressions", an abstract exploration of color, texture, and fluid forms. In 2015, he joined the “La Friche” Artistic Residency in Nice, a multidisciplinary space where he expanded into video art, creating several short films presented during exhibitions. In 2017, he launched a new creative project titled "Liquid Soul", photographing dynamic interactions of inks, paints, and other liquids in water. His goal is to bring images to life and invite personal interpretation through abstract, expressive compositions.
