Filippo Belletti is a visual artist who uses photography as a material for the construction of the image. He has been working with imagery since 2010, developing a personal research practice focused on translating memories, emotions, and inner spaces into suspended visual landscapes. His work is situated within the field of post-photography and digital art based on photographic imagery. Photography is not approached as a documentary tool, but as visual material to be transformed, manipulated, and recomposed. The images originate from real photographs, often connected to lived or imagined places, which are subsequently altered until they lose any precise temporal or geographical reference. He lives and works in Verona, Italy.
