"Fabricio Simões is one of the few Brazilian photographers who has developed his own minimalist aesthetic in B&W. His work mixes characteristics of classic 20th century photography with an approach to medium format capture and post-production in digital software. In a world full of information and distractions, the photographer proposes in his landscapes, objects, portraits, nudes, a visual clarity, a connection with what is essential, a deepening of the artistic experience and our vision of everything that exists".
