Bio

Derek Lofgreen is a photographer working primarily with analog capture and printing processes and resides in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. His work focuses on the landscape, both natural and built, that are realized through traditional printing methods, such as silver and salt prints. Derek’s work has been accepted and exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States. Growing up in a small town on the great plains of central U.S. has given him an admiration of the land we live on and how we use it. Seeing different landscapes and environments sparks his curiosity and drives his exploration of the land and it’s inhabitants through photography.
