Bio

Aurélien Ernst is a Luxembourgish photographer living in Brussels. His main photographic approach consists in highlighting his vision of urban areas and those who live and appropriate them. Browsing between street photography, documentary photography, and portraiture, his goal is to capture fragments of human interactions while bringing an artistic side to them. He often exercises his passion in Latin America, a continent with a large diversity of cultures, customs, and living standards. Also, for several years, he has been documenting dozens of protests that take place in Brussels, getting a vision of the social problems of the society he lives in. Since the beginning of his photographic career in 2010, Aurélien has captured hundreds of strangers, always with the same passion and the eagerness to learn about communities.
