Bio
Antonella Papa is a specialist art restorer from Rome, Italy, who has spent many years working in the Vatican Museum. She spent four years in the team of eight which restored the Sistine Chapel and has travelled extensively with her work. Her romantic notion has always been to travel north to cold, drama and isolation. It was when she encountered Puffins for the first time, when visiting Orkney in 2011, that she took photography more seriously. She fell in love with the Islands and the birds, and photography has become her way to express her love for the natural world and to share its beauty.
