Bio
Andrew is an adventurous British photographer who travels the world to capture images of our beautiful planet and its people. Born in 1978, he started travelling the world in his early 20's which sparked an interest in photography. After returning to college to study the craft he embarked on a year long round the world trip to put the theory work into practise, which helped fuel his insatiable appetite for adventurous travels off the beaten track. He began his photographic career over 17 years ago and now spends his time undertaking commercial and personal projects, short and long-term. He also runs photography courses in the UK & overseas as well as selling fine art prints of his work. His award-winning work has been exhibited at the prestigious Royal Geographical Society in London and published worldwide by some of the most respected publications and businesses including National Geographic, GEO, Microsoft, The World Bank, Red Bull Media, United Nations, Harper Collins, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Le Figaro, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, The Telegraph, Geographical, NBC News, BBC, CNN, Lonely Planet and Conde Nast to name but a few. He was awarded in the 2012 International Photography Awards (IPA) with 9 Honorable Mentions, was a finalist in the 2012, 2013 & 2014 Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) awards, winning 'Best Single Image in a Portfolio' in 2012 and Category Winner in the 2019 Food Photographer of the Year awards.
