I photographed this acrobat at the Las Vegas Water Circus last year. I wanted to capture a moment where he seems caught between worlds, leaving it unclear whether he is falling, drifting through space, or rising upward.

I photographed Aviv Geffen at his annual Rock Ball, in front of 60,000 people. At the peak of the show, with confetti in the air and the crowd roaring, he lay down on stage and let the moment sink in.

I wanted to recreate the famous Matrix scene with a twist, so I contacted a fire artist and an acrobat from Cirque du Soleil to capture this in a one-shot with no props or manipulations.
