The series explores flowers in a state of decay, an inevitable process that is often uncomfortable to witness. I approached the flowers as I would a person in front of the camera, treating each subject with dignity and depth. The series challenges the idea that beauty belongs only to youth.

HERITAGE IN FACES

This is a portrait of three poppies tangled together.
I approached them in the same way as I would a person in front of my camera. My aim was to highlight their imperfections and details to better show their uniqueness and  'personalities'.
